USING “WORD CLOUDS” FOR LANGUAGE TRAINING OF FOREIGN MEDICAL STUDENTS

The article deals with the theoretical and practical aspect of using «word clouds» to create activities when teaching philological disciplines aimed at formation professional communicative competency (development language competences) foreign students medical faculty whose instruction is English. It worth mentioning that tasks created «Word Cloud» technology integrate work lexical material (lexemes, phrases, sentences) controlled as well free practice on producing utterances topics, dialogue simulation according various models (doctor – hypochondriac patient, doctor inattentive talkative silent hostile patient), which contributes implementation speech behaviour tactics achieve communication goal, demonstrating a good command techniques establishing contacts. stressed established logical semantic connections between lexemes / phrases sentences working clouds». Interactive situations described in research are close real conditions activity future specialists field, reproduce possibility extensive standard situations, elements unpredictability, accompanied by visual demonstration educational information Special attention focused didactic possibilities for learning they used multiple variations, namely: 1) minimum transforming aphorisms questions dialogical units topic content lesson; 2) an algorithm modelling accordance activity, writing cinquains; 3) tool creating associative series (anatomical terminology, clinical diseases, symptoms, drugs, medications, painful conditions, etc.), instructions establish rules assistance victim (based key words), terminological dictionaries learn consolidate vocabulary topics; 4) cognitive terms mastering skills perceptive productive types their intellectual creative abilities. conclusion drawn word teacher/students, combination tasks, accumulation linguistic experience, expanding active vocabulary, acquiring phonetic, grammatical skills.
